The bracelet measures 10" including the anchor bead. Designed to be very dangly around the wrist, it's shortest wearable length is about 8 1/2" and it's longest is a little over 9".
11mm (about 1/2") puffy Dalmation Jasper coins are wrapped in 20 gauge .925 Sterling Silver with no soldering and not a single open ring. Instead, I used hand made split rings, even for the fastener chain, which means this piece is simply LOADED with sterling silver. For those of you unfamiliar with a split ring, it's one of those rings on key chains that you have to pry apart a little and then slide your key around and around to get it on. All the split ring ends have been filed and bent in slightly so they won't catch on your clothing or scratch your skin. You can wear this bracelet to work, change your flat tire on the way home, and then catch it on the clothing fixtures at the mall, you won't snap it apart.
I am really hard on bracelets. The bracelet I've had the longest is one my grandmother bought for my birthday two years ago, and I still have it because I don't wear it! I break the clasps, I catch them on everything, my dog ate one (seriously), and one fell off of my arm while I was driving with my window down. This design came from all of that loss! Now I just need to decide what I want my own to look like...
